Active Membership Requirements 

Active Members are expected to meet the requirements listed below in order to attend our certification courses and our annual banquet.

 1 

Have at least 12 Volunteer hours per semester 

  • For Spring and Fall certifications, a minimum of 8 hours must be completed the Sunday before certification date

  • 12 volunteering hours must be completed to attend our Award Ceremony (Fall semester) and Annual Banquet (Spring Semester) for free

  • Group volunteering opportunities are offered every week on and off campus 

  • Individual volunteering is open at your convenience on Wednesday and Thursday 9am-5pm at the local chapter office (4244 Boonville Rd, Bryan, TX 77802).​

Attend 3 Social events per semester 

  • Social events are offered every week. These can range from study socials or grabbing something to eat in the evening!

 3 

Attend 3 out of 5 meetings for the semester 

  • General meetings typically go over upcoming events, projects, or deadlines. Occasionally, we will have Guest Speakers and hold our meetings off-campus. If there are any time interferences with meeting days, an officer should be notified.

 4 

Pay dues

  • Dues are $30 per semester

  • Cash payments can be given to our Treasurer

  • Any Flywire payments can be accessed by: 

    • Referring to Texas A&M's Flywire website and log in using Texas A&M log-in info

    • Select American Red Cross and pay your dues

Make a Volunteer Connections Account 

A Volunteer Connection account is the official online platform used by the American Red Cross to register volunteers, track service hours, sign up for opportunities, and complete required trainings. Members use this account to stay connected with Red Cross activities and document their volunteer involvement.
